This is another common question, and it's one I dislike greatly. It saddens me to see the lifestyle is taken so lightly by some people; people that think it's only about sex and that "swingers" will "fuck" anyone who comes along.

The lifestyle is built around openness and honesty between a couple.....not sneaking around for sex! Those of us in the lifestyle are in it primarily for the friendships we create with other like-minded couples. The sex is only enhanced by that friendship.....and without it, you might as well masturbate! You develop friendships based on honesty and trust, and I find it very difficult to be with someone who is being dishonest with their partner.

I personally wouldn't accept an attached person who is "cheating" on their partner into my life, and I know many other "swingers" wouldn't either. It is against all I believe that is good about the lifestyle. I would feel guilty knowing I was assisting someone in lying to their partner.

I know that there are many people out there who are in bad situations, sexually, with their partners, but that still does not give you the right to be dishonest with them. If the situation is so bad where you can't even talk about it, my only advice is to get out of the relationship. You're not doing anything for yourself, your partner, or your children by staying in a bad relationship.
